Here is a quick rundown of the projects I’ve worked on. Thankful to all the mentors and friends who have helped me along the way!
Undergraduate @ Oxford: studying Biomedical Sciences at Christ Church College, Oxford (Oct 2025 – Jun 2029)
Ellison Scholar @ EIT: will be working on biomedical research with the Ellison Institute of Technology as a fully funded student at the University of Oxford
Protein Design @ LTRI: designed DNA polymerases in the Gingras Lab, supported through grants from the 1517 Fund and Emergent Ventures
Enzyme Design: I redesigned LinB with RFDiffusion3, LigandMPNN, Boltz-2, and other tools. The reaction I worked on was the dehalogenation of EDB (a pollutant and carcinogen) to 2-bromoethanol
Spoke @ Web Summit 2024: gave a talk about protein design and my research with DNA polymerases on the Corporate Innovation Stage
Intern @ Gingras Lab (Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute): learned about mapping the human interactome through cell culture, mini-prep, gel electrophoresis, western blotting, and other experiments with my mentor
Cancer Immunotherapy: I wrote a proposal for a new pancreatic cancer treatment. It uses a CRISPR knockout of MCT1 to block butyrate from disrupting NK cells, increasing their potency
Consulting: with my respective teams, I had the opportunity to consult for Google, Microsoft, and Verizon
